The Barn & Facilities

Capacity

We can comfortably seat up to 150 people in our main hall. For an evening reception, or where guests don’t all need to be seated at tables, we can accommodate 250 people.

Marquees

If your planned event would require a greater seating capacity than the Oak Barn can provide, a marquee can be erected in the grounds. This requires a special license and so advanced notice is essential.

Parking facilities

Our main car park will hold 60 - 70 cars. We also have space immediately outside of the barn which can be reserved for elderly or disabled guests or for a "dropping -off" area.

Catering

We provide a catering service that is tailored to your specific needs. We have facilities for Hog-Roasts, Barbecues and Giant out-door Stir-fry pans. We can build a menu around your favourite foods – or supply a range of popular menu suggestions. We can provide for buffet style dining or for silver-service.

Bar

We have a licensed bar which is operated by experienced staff. The bar can be open throughout your event (within licensed hours). We also provide a range of "drinks packages" to complement your menu choices.

Special Requirements

There is a ramped entrance to provide access for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Disabled toilet facilities and a baby-changing unit are available.

Special dietary requirements

We do not have set menus, that is to say, all menus are tailored to your exact requirements. If you have guests with special dietary needs, this can be planned for and provided.

Conferencing

We provide a flip-chart, pens, and notepads. Other items can be supplied if required. Refreshments can be provided at agreed intervals. Refreshment options are tailored to your specific requirements.
